Holy schnikes, where did the last month go?! Every time I look at these little bugs, I get amazed at how big they have gotten. Their birthday will be here before we know it!

Weight and height: Chloe is about 20 lbs and Will is still around 18 lbs and about 28ish inches. They don't look way different in weight but Chloe most definitely feels heavier. Baby girl has some HUGE thighs.
Sleeping patterns: Sleep is spotty. Some days both of them sleep awesome; other days, not so much. They are still going to bed around 6:00, so I don't get very much time with them during the week.
Eating habits: I really don't know how Chloe gained so much more than Will. He eats almost twice as much as she does! We think he just has hollow legs.
Pumping is still going strong. I sometimes wonder why I continue on this exclusive pumping journey. I'm so freaking sick of pumping and am counting the days and pumps left, which makes me sad that sometimes I am wishing away this first year. But then I remember how much they prefer breastmilk to anything else and how much better it is for them as we hit the flu season. Probably the most important reason I keep going is because formula is super expensive and I hate ramen noodles.
New discoveries they've made: Everything goes to their mouths. I really wish their teeth would come in soon.
Accomplishments: We have mobile babies! Shortly after my last post, they both started crawling. They are never ever in the same spot they get set down in. My favorite part of my day is when I get home from work and Dom jumps up and down yelling "Mommy! Mommy!" and Chloe and Will crawl toward me in the kitchen. Few things are better than being accosted by three children who are so happy to see me.
In true boy fashion, Will is mastering physical skills more quickly than Chloe. He is very good at picking up small items, and he has begun to pull himself up on everything - the gate, the stairs, baskets - whatever he can climb on, he will try! He is a very persistent little stinker, so when he wants something he'll keep going at it like a circus monkey. Most wanted item: my cell phone. Runner up: the remote control.
Chloe has a better verbal repertoire, in typical girl fashion. She likes to tell stories, and she's very good at letting someone know she's upset or wants something. She is close to pulling herself up, and mostly tries to pull herself up using our pant legs. She also likes to sit on our feet like a dog to let us know she wants up.
Places they went: We've had a busy month, including a trip to Waterloo for Macey's first birthday party and a trip to the pumpkin patch. The car ride to Waterloo and back went well. It was the first time we had all three kids in our car for a long ride, so I was surprised the drive went so smoothly. The night in pack and plays wasn't the best. We used a travel one for Chloe and she kept getting wedged sideways in it - clearly it was too small! Will kept crawling into the sides because he couldn't figure out why he couldn't crawl out of it.

I think they all had a good time at the pumpkin patch. I had Will in a wrap and Mom had Chloe in another carrier, and they both stayed awake the entire time, looking around. I'm thankful we went that route, rather than bringing the double stroller, because it was far easier to manage them and keep strangers gross hands away. I did have a woman nearly grab some side boob when she reached out to grab my wrap and say, "Where'd you get this? It's cute!" I was so shocked that I stared at her for a second before responding. Seriously, stranger side-boob. AWKWARD.

Special friends they've made: They very much are into other kids, especially babies, and liked to stare at Indy (our new niece) and Macey. Big brother Dominic is still their hero.
Noises and babbles: Nothing really new here. I think they're focusing all their brain power on moving and exploring their world.
Firsts:
Standing
Will pulled himself all the way to standing this past weekend! This guy is going to get into everything very soon!
Crawling
They both started crawling two days after the last post.

These two, and their big brother, really make my life complete. Busy, chaotic, and messy. But complete.
